MOVIE REVIEW: Tron: Legacy

To simply describe it, Tron is visually appealing to the eyes but intellectually dulling to the mind. Every effect generated in Tron is beautiful captured and displayed so well that it pulls you into the movie. Even, if you have no idea what's going on, you'll be entertained nonetheless. The downside to the movie would have to be the storyline. The storyline is completely generic to every single adventure movie you seen since you were a little kid (but let's not go there since it's going to spoil the entire movie). Another lacking would be the lack of humor. The film does have its moments of snickering but don't expect a comedy here, folks. The film takes a serious tone that hooks your eyes on the screen. Overall, this is a very good film of which I'm giving a 7/10 (a higher score if it had a better storyline). Best of all, you can take the young ones with you! :D

RISING YOUTUBE STAR: Kanauru Productions

I've been doing a lot of music reviews so how about a switch of things. Kanauru Productions is a dance group which remixes the dances of KPOP stars, mostly TaeYang. Their head dancer, Qui, has even gone to Korea and has been up close and personal with Taeyang and GDragon. At Korea, he has learned the amount of hard work that goes into a 3 minute video; and thus, has decided to create his own remixes of music videos on a smaller production. His and his group's hard work can be seen in their adaptation of Wedding Dress, by TaeYang.

RISING YOUTUBE STAR: Maribelle Anes

Maribelle Anes is one of Youtube's rising artist. Born in Australia and of Filipino descendant, Mariabelle is an underground artist with her own original tracks. More amazingly, she's only 15 and 14 when she began singing. That's right folks, she's only 15. Fifteen and she has been writing her own lyrics and making her own beats. She has also began collaborating with rising stars, such as Jason Chen, J. Reyez, and Lil Crazed. Fearless and ambitious, I won't be surprised if she makes millions by the time she's 18. Listen to her orginal track, "Sky Ain't Even the Limit", and you'll fall in love with her music.
